Positive Perspective Mentors & Educational Services (PPMES) was organized for educational and community outreach purposes that address the following areas.

Youth Services

PPMES provides youth services that develop social coping skills and offers opportunities to youth for community service and outreach.

Marriage/Family/Relationship Development

PPMES provides resources, referrals, and activities to assist marriages (i.e. premarital, newly weds, and seasoned couples), broken relationships (i.e. family, friends, work, social, church, neighbors), challenging family issues (i.e. senior citizens, grandparents raising children, drug use and abuse, unemployment, teenage pregnancy, juvenile violence), and education assistance (i.e. GED, Higher Education).

Mentoring and Educational Achievement

PPMES provides mentoring services relative to wholesome family development and educational direction to improve the quality of life for minority communities.

Health Disparities

 Positive Perspective provides activities to promote behavior that increase community awareness and decrease the advance of HIV/AIDS/STDs; tobacco, alcohol, and drug use by youth; and other related risks that lead to bad health.
